Discount

With the Slovenian Railways' young person’s under 26 card, SŽ-Ej!KArtica, young people between the ages of 12 and 26 are entitled to a 30 percent discount off all 1st and 2nd class travel on all Slovenian trains, and on international transport within domestic borders.

Validity

Standard discounts apply for 1st and 2nd class travel on all trains on all routes across Slovenia.

With a young person’s rail card (SŽ-Ej!KArtica), you can purchase a ticket for travel on international trains operating within Slovenia. The discount however is only valid within Slovenia.

The young person’s SŽ-Ej!KArtica card can be used to purchase tickets at the railway station or on the train, in the event that the passenger was unable to purchase the ticket at the station. Discounts are not valid for tickets purchased onboard the train if at the time of departure tickets were available at the station where the passenger boarded.
