Travelling by train can be both fun as well as a learning experience. Children under the age of 6 travel for free. Children between the ages of 6 and 12 travel at half price. Ask us for some suggestions where you might want to travel!

Children under the age of 6 travel for free. Even if they do not require a seat, they must nevertheless have a ticket for the journey. This can be obtained at the ticket counter.

Children between the ages of 6 and 12, as well as young children for whom a seat is required (nursery school groups) travel at 50-percent discount in 1st and 2nd class carriages on all trains in Slovenia.
