The SŽ-EJ!Kartica is for young persons between the ages of 12 and 26.

Discounts on Slovenian Railways

30 percent off the cost of one-way and return tickets for individual journeys in 1st or 2nd class carriages on all trains.

• on Slovenian lines (domestic network),

• international travel to Croatia

• for return journeys to Villach, Klagenfurt and Graz, as per Regio AS offers.

The discount is valid for the purchase of tickets at the railway station. It is also valid for purchase onboard the train, in the event that it was not possible for the passenger to purchase a ticket at the time of departure at the station or stop where the passenger boarded.

25 percent off international travel with Railplus when purchasing international tickets for 1st or 2nd class travel aboard all trains on Slovenian and foreign routes:

The Railplus discount does not apply to the purchase of domestic tickets on a foreign network. With a Railplus discount you can purchase a discounted ticket at any railway station served by international connections.

Validity

One year from the month of purchase (a ticket, purchased September 2007 is valid until the end of September 2008). If the passenger will turn 26 years old before the validity period has expired, then the ticket will be issued as valid until the end of the month in which the passenger's birthday occurs.

Additional information

A standard EJ!Kartica rail pass is not valid on Slovenian Railways.
