Travel around Europe!

InterRail is an all inclusive rail pass for travel on European Railways within the following 30 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Montenegro, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg , Hungary, Germany, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey, the United Kingdom. The offer is also valid for travel onboard the Attica Group ferry service, which operates the route between Italy and Greece.

Ticket types

The InterRail Global Pass is valid for travel on all rail networks of all participating member countries.

The Flexi Pass can be purchased in two forms: either valid for 5 days of travel within a 10 day period; or for 10 days of travel within a 22 day period.

The Continuous Pass is valid for 22 successive days, or for 1 month.

The InterRail One Country Pass is valid for travel on all rail networks of your selected countries. The InterRail GREECE PASS enables travel across Greece, whilst a special feature of the InterRail GREECE PLUS PASS is that it is also valid for travel onboard the Attica Group ferry service.

Passes are not issued for Bosnia and Herzegovina or Montenegro, as they are not participating members of the InterRail One Country Pass group.

Countries are classified into four pricing groups:

  • The Flexi Pass is issued for 3, 4, 6 or 8 days of travel per month.

Terms of use

The InterRail Global Pass is not valid for travel within the country in which the holder is resident. For travel within the country of residence from the station of departure to the border, the pass holder must purchase a separate domestic ticket, either one-way or return. Residents of Slovenia are entitled to a 50-percent discount off the international TCV tariff for services operating on the Slovenian Railway network from the station of departure to the border.

Residents of the Republic of Slovenia may not purchase an InterRail One Country Pass for Slovenia.

Children between the ages of 4 and 11 are entitled to a 50 percent reduction.

The InterRail Pass is issued in the name of the holder and is non-transferable. It can be purchased up to three months in advance of travelling. A valid passport must be presented when purchasing the pass.

Recommendation

We recommend that you take good care of you InterRail Pass. If the pass is lost or stolen you are not entitled to a refund or a replacement.

Discounts

Holders of an InterRail pass can take advantage of the following discounts:

  • Discounted travel on certain ferry routes (discounts from 20 to 50 percent),
  • Discounted travel on private railway services (discounts up to 50 percent),
  • Discounted entrance to transport museums and other museums (certain museums allow entrance free of charge)

Supplements

Travel on certain special rail services will require a supplement as well as a reservation for a seat or berth.

Sales outlets

InterRail Global Passes can be purchased at railway stations in Ljubljana, Celje, Koper and Maribor.

The InterRail One Country Pass can be purchased at railway stations at Brežice, Celje, Dobova, Jesenice, Koper, Kranj, Lesce-Bled, Ljubljana, Maribor, Murska Sobota, Nova Gorica, Postojna, Ptuj and Sevnica.
