Bargain fares to Salzburg

This spring, Salzburg -the city of Mozart- joins the list of cities which you can travel to cheaply with a bargain train fare.

One-way SparSchiene tickets from Ljubljana to Salzburg cost just 19 euros. A return fare (equivalent to the price of two one-way journeys) will cost you 38 euros. The seat reservation is included in the ticket fare. The SparSchiene special offer also applies to second class rail travel to Austria on routes 210-110, and for travel from Austria to Slovenia on routes 111-211.

Ticket availability of the SparSchiene deal is limited, therefore we recommend that you purchase your ticket at least several days prior to travelling. Tickets can be purchased up to two months in advance of travelling, and are only valid for travel on the day and on the train for which they are purchased.

Route 210-110 operates from Ljubljana, departing at 15.25; route 111-211 operates from Salzburg, departing at 10.12.
