Venice

Travel to Venice, the city on water.

Why Venice?

Venice is an exceptional and unique city due to its location and from the urban design that resulted, and due also to its priceless artistic treasures... on top of all of this, add the legend, the history and the personality which come together to make up the exceptionally varied character of the Venetian world that grew from just a scattering of refugee huts on the lagoon into global power –nationally, militarily and artistically. Of course, we must not ignore the many events, from the carnival to the regatta, from the concerts, theatre and film festivals, to the artistic and historical exhibitions which attract global audiences. Daily Venetian life on the water appeals to everyone with its calming effect; an environment free of cars is at once thrilling and calming, whether we are in a crowd of tourists on Saint Mark's Square, or on the secluded outskirts where tourists rarely venture. The whole world comes to admire this beautiful city in which lies a beauty, a great heritage, and a life time's worth of treasures and curiosities to explore. Luckily for us however, Venice so close that we can take a day trip there.
