Tickets to Salzburg (2nd Class)

Why Salzburg?

Whether for a weekend, a holiday, or just for a day trip, travelling to Salzburg by train can be a pleasant experience. With its many attractions, the town of Mozart will enchant you: there’s Mozart's square with its monument, the cathedral, the University Church, the house in which W. A. Mozart was born. And if you fancy seeing the city from a height, then why not climb up to the mighty fortress, the largest in Europe, which was built in the 11th century. The fortress is the symbol of Salzburg, and here you can visit the museum, enjoy a concert in historical surroundings, or just marvel at the amazing view over the baroque town and its surrounding area.

If nothing else, then take some Mozart chocolates back to those who stayed behind at home. Of course, you can already buy them from your local shop back at home, but if you bring them back with you as a souvenir of Salzburg, then it's a different thing entirely. And when they have gorged themselves on these sweets, maybe they too will be tempted to set off on a journey there themselves.
