What is e-freight transport

Through e-freight transport Slovenske železnice offers the possibility of direct access to our information system. In this context, two services are provided.

The first service is procurement of wagons for loading of cargo on freight stations of Slovenian Railways. With E-procurement of wagons, wagons can be ordered at any time, you can check the status of the order or cancel the order. It is also possible to check the status by stations.

The second service is the monitoring consignments or wagons while they are in Slovenia or in Austria, Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary and Slovakia. Along with the information contained in the bill of freight, other information is available such as the location (where the wagon/consignment currently is) and the status of consignments (whether the wagon is currently loaded or at a technical station…). Data is accessible in real time – each event is immediately recorded in the information system.

The other service entails electronic access to the specification attached to the invoice. The specification contains data originating from the bill of freight (also including values) relating to finished transport.

By using their password and username, registered users of the e-freight transport portal can enter the information system. If you wish to use this feature please fill in the application form. You will receive an answer by post. By sending in the application form you also accept the General Conditions governing access to data.
