On 12th January the Container Terminal in Ljubljana received the long-awaited, brand new container handling device.

The Kalmar lift RF 400-450 was manufactured in Sweden. It had been taken in parts to the terminal Ljubljana where it was assembled. Assembling and testing lasted five days. The container handling device may load up to 40 tons of cargo to the first level and 10 tons of cargo to the third level. Containers can be arranged also onto the fifth level. The device can be used for handling semi-trailers and swap bodies. Noise in the cabin is 70 decibels at the most. The cabin is air-conditioned.

With this acquisition, the Container terminal Ljubljana is able to provide an even higher quality and faster service.
