One Stop Shop (OSS)

European rail network infrastructure operators and the various bodies responsible for the allocation of rail routes, who together form RailNetEurope (RNE), have established one stop shops (OSS) to serve as single points of contact for customers across the entire RNE network.

The primary aim of establishing single points of contact is to provide appropriate and effective assistance to customers, based on transparent, confidential and non-discriminatory procedures.

In close cooperation with the infrastructure operators, one stop shops will:

  • provide the customer with support and information regarding the goods and services provided by the infrastructure operators;
  • provide information regarding access to the infrastructure of any operator that is part of the RNE;
  • deal with requests for any international train route within the RailNetEurope group, including for the following scheduled travel period;
  • prepare train routes for the entire international route;

Each one stop shop is part of the international rail network, which provides customers with information about access to the networks of individual rail operators. OSS's also offer information about the user charges and train schedules.
