Environmental Management System ISO 14001

Rail traffic is by its very nature a more environmentally-friendly mode of transport. Nevertheless, it is still a burden on the environment that we intend to address and reduce. In 2002, Slovenian Railways therefore established and certified an environmental management system and obtained ISO 14001 certification.

Certificate of Quality Management ISO 9001

In 1996 Slovenian Railways established a system of quality management according to the requirements of ISO 9001, which was certified in 1997. The quality management system demonstrates that work processes and measures are consistent with the requirements of recognised standards. The services that we offer our users conform to the appropriate levels of quality; and we constantly carry out a programme of continuous quality improvement.
