Every year, more and more passengers travel on Slovenian Railways’ trains. Last year nearly 17 million passengers used the network. Most passengers are aged between 15 and 50, the largest representation among whom are school students and commuters. As the results of research show, train stations are second only to major shopping centres when it comes to comparing the total number of annual visits they receive. Therefore, it is no coincidence that Slovenian Railways is fast becoming a major advertising platform for an increasing number of interested advertisers.
Slovenian Railways’ diverse media adverts offer the possibility of advertising both on trains and inside them, both on domestic and international transport routes, at railway stations, fly-overs, under-passes and other locations. Other interesting possibilities include: advertising cards, envelopes for rail ticket, floor advertising, advertising in illuminated displays, on billboards on trains, at railway stations and so on. Advertisers also have the possibility of distributing their materials, preparing tastings, and various promotions on the train.
